Week three inspiration

Right first of this IS NOT macro photogrpahy but it is so inspirational for that subject. It is simply amazing what humans are now capable of capturing. This is by Lennart Nilsson and these are created by scanning electronic microscpoe images. Images such as these not only show how far photogrpahy can be taken but also help for medical purposes. This image reminds me of Leonardo De Vincis work of the human anatomy seen here. Although they are drawings and not as detailed they also promote what humans can achieve and help medical research.

Week four Inspiration

Simply put I find this image amazing. It is both beautiful and ugly due to the almost grittyness of the shot. The bath shot is my prefered image and gave me the inspiration for my second shoot. Although I really like the blur of the image I would prefer not to use that technique until I know that I will be able to do it very well. Although I may experimant with it during the shoot. The image conjours many stories behind the image and I would really like to convey that in my shoot.

Week One inspiration

This image is the main inspiration for this overall shoot, I like the differnce of the light and dark make up and the differnt feelings this brings to the image. I also like that the lighting is subtle so that the make up really does the main work in this image.
